Dr. Andrea Schievano (MSc in Environmental Engineering and PhD in Agricultural ecology), focuses on environmental sustainability and circularity in food-production chains.
He was principal investigator at University of Milan, in bio-electrochemistry.
He is co-founder of two start-ups in sustainable and regenerative agriculture (https://spireat.it/; https://soulfoodforestfarms.it/).
Currently, he is researcher at the food security unit of the EU Commission – Joint Research Center (Ispra, Italy).
